We’re looking for 20 talented Black creatives to join us for our Influencer Advertising 101 Workshop. It is the first in a series of free workshops that will support underrepresented groups in the advertising industry – starting with the Black community this Black History Month.
In partnership with NewComma (a social recruitment platform for Black creatives), our goal is to continue to open the doors for talented creatives no matter their background.
The workshop, hosted on 6 October at our central London office, will cover the 101s of what it’s like working in the advertising industry through an influencer-led approach. We’ll explore areas like account management, strategy, creative, influencer content production and talent recruitment. We’re also excited to announce we’ll be joined by Olympian and sprinter, Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, who will take us behind the scenes of creating influencer content for brands.
Attendees will leave with a thorough understanding of a creative agency structure and what influencer campaign creation entails.
The first half of the session will feature presentations from various BDB departments to provide insights on internal practices and the types of roles a creative agency comprises. Attendees will also have the opportunity to flex their creative muscles, working through an exciting brief with BDB team members.
No minimum experience required. The deadline to apply for a spot is 30 September, 2022.
Apply for our Influencer Advertising 101 Workshop here. Your portfolio on NewComma will be used to assess your application.
